Hi, I’m Alex.
I've been landscaping in the Bay Area for over 15 years now.
I'm a naturalist at heart. I love hiking, and I’ve been a birder for as long as I can remember. On a good day off, I'm at Point Reyes National Seashore looking for mushrooms, studying the flora, and watching for birds. With all the stopping I do to observe the plant and animal life, it’s not unusual for a “quick” three-mile hike to take hours!
That's the same curiosity I bring to your garden. I want every space I build to feel like a sanctuary, somewhere you actually want to sit outside, and somewhere the bees, butterflies, and birds want to stick around, too.
The Bay Area is one of the most biodiverse places in the country and we are extremely lucky to live here. But, with humanity and development comes habitat loss. The way I see it, every native, pollinator-friendly plant we add to your garden is a way to help our local environment heal.
I handle the whole thing: design, planting, maintenance, seasonal cleanups, hardscape, and irrigation. Whatever your little spot in the world needs to stay healthy and look good all year.
At the end of the day, you get a garden you're proud of, and a sanctuary you can feel good about.
